Patch Notes: Prototype V.040
A lot of significant work went on under the hood this week. As always, let me know if you find any game breaking bugs (or just your thoughts in general)!

Interface Update: The user interface has seen numerous updates that make buttons more visually consistent.
•Clickable buttons are now all lighter blue, while non-clickable interface pieces are darker blue
•The object bookmarks have been redrawn to match the other buttons
•The tooltip toggle button in the help menu is now more obvious and consistent
Grid Overlay Improvements: The highlighted sections on the X and Y axes now extend in all 4 directions for easier measuring
Tooltips: The code for tooltips has been completely rewritten to be more visually responsive, and to snugly adapt to different length text.

Improved Eraser: Completely rewrote the eraser code to play nice with objects and creatures in the water (koi, sun/moon reflections).
The Creature Net: Added a new eraser toggle that freezes critters and creatures to a grid and only allows you to erase them. The selected object eraser can also still be used to target a specific critter type only, but will not freeze them in place.
• The help menu has not been updated to include the new hotkey ("C") for this function
• Creatures/critters may not be highlighted when mousing over them, but they will still be erased properly.
Brush Sizes: A new brush size button is now at the top of the screen. Select the size you want for creating ground and texture tiles.
•This does not currently work with placing objects and critters, nor with erasing.
•More shapes and sizes are coming.

Bugs:

• Fixed a bug that made the clock repeat 11am and then skip to 1pm
• Fixed a bug where the Yes/No menu would not hide the menu highlighter if the object menu is pinned open
• Fixed a bug when loading islands saved at certain times that prevented the daylight shaders from updating correctly.

Next week's patch will be a fun one. I've mostly been focusing on technical updates and editor improvements, but the next patch will include a lot more content to play around with in your islands. I have at least one more prototype patch planned after that before moving on to development of the full game, and I look forward to all of your feedback!
