Pixelscape Patch Day #001

The first major patch is now live for Pixelscape Islands!  It includes a host of quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and new editor features.  Read on to find out more, or just go download and discover the improvements yourself

Important Note:  There is a new zip file to download this time around, with slightly different naming, but future updates will simply update this new file.

-------------------
New Features:

-------------------
1. Unlocked Camera:  Hold the middle mouse button at the edge of the map to scroll.  There is a small delay to prevent accidental scrolling.
*This feature will continue to be fine tuned (the delay is probably too long right now), and maps will get even larger eventually.  This small size increase is just the first test.*

2. Grid Overlay:  You can now toggle a grid over your maps to more easily measure things out.

3. Object Menu Pin:  You can now pin the object menu open to more easily peruse and select objects while you edit.

4. Tooltips:  You can now hover the cursor over most buttons to see helpful tips about them.
*This is a temporary solution until a more robust system can be implemented.  There is currently a lot of dead space for short tooltips, but this will be fixed in the future. Tooltips can be turned off in the new help pop-up menu.

5. Help Menu: There's a new help pop-up menu.

-------------------
Art:

-------------------
1. Smoother water surface animation
2. Small change to the Weather Editor button art
3. Small change to the "Cloner Tool" button art

-------------------
Quality of Life:
-------------------

1. A small delay has been inserted  to prevent immediately placing objects when you click to close a menu.
2. There is now an object number displayed so you can more easily scroll/navigate through the object menu.
3. The weather editor button has been moved to the top center.
*It was previously in with the system options menu (resolution, sound), and that didn't make a lot of sense.*

4.The highlight effect in the object menu no longer flashes.

-------------------
Bugs:
-------------------

1. Fixed a bug that allowed plants and critters to be placed anywhere if there were no terrain objects in a scene.
2. A splash sound will no longer errantly trigger when switching to a rock object that can be placed in the water.
3. Fixed a bug that allowed certain locked objects to be selected/highlighted
4. Invisible buttons can no longer interfere with clicking to close other menus.
5. White mushroom objects were not sorting properly (being placed under objects they should be in front of).  This should no longer occur.
6. Pressing esc should now close any open menus (unless you have the object menu pinned).

*Expect future patches every 1-2 weeks on Tuesdays until the editor prototype is complete and development moves toward finishing the full game.*
